Daytona Beach hotels -- there are so many of them that's it's hard to choose. After all, Daytona does have 23 miles of beaches - that's a lot of sand, surf and sunshine!
So just what are the best Daytona Beach hotels? It all depends on what's right for you.
Do you want to be right on the beach?
Are you on a budget?
Do you want to stay near the raceway?
As you can see, there are several choices you have to make! But half the fun is in investigating the options, don't you think?
Daytona Beach Hotels -- On the Beach
For all you out there who feel deprived without room service, never fear -- there are plenty of places for you to relax and enjoy your vacation. Some ideas include:
Bahama House on S Atlantic Ave. This hotel gets consistently rave reviews, on everything from the rooms to the service. Bahama House is right on the ocean, so you can walk right out onto the sands.
Perry's Ocead Edge Resort on S Atlantic Ave also gets good reviews. About twice the size of Bahama House, it also is right on the beach. Includes indoor and outdoor pools!
Daytona Seabreeze on S Atlantic Ave continues the tradition of great reviews. This is a newer hotel, and by all acounts is very nice. Staff is courteous and the beach is right out your door. Rooms, suites and apartments available.
Find a Cheap Hotel in Daytona Beach
Now obviously you aren't going to get a Daytona Beach hotel that has a long list of amenities. And also keep in mind that Daytona Beach hotels are no longer inexpensive. Still, you want to stay somewhere that is clean and comfortable...and on the beach if possible. Here are some that are around $100 a night, and if you do a little checking around, you just might be able to catch these under $80 a night.
Surfside Hotel on S Atlantic Ave is on the ocean and gets some nice reviews. Has a sundeck, pool and some live entertainment.
Oceanside Inn on S Atlantic Ave is less consistent in the reviews (although overall they are good) but has lots more in the way of amenities. Right on the ocean.
Sunny Shore Resort on S Atlantic Ave is a bit of a gem. Great reviews but still only around $100. Right on the beach -- you might want to check this one out.
Hotels Near the Speedway
Not everyone wants to stay on the beach -- some come for the Daytona Beach Speedway! If that's your ticket, here are some hotels close to the raceway that you may want to consider:
Hilton Garden Inn on Midway Ave has two things going for it. First, it's a Hilton and has all the service and amenities you've come to expect. Second, it's within walking distance to the raceway!
Ramada Inn Speedway Hotel on International Speedway Blvd is less on amenities than the Hilton, but a good value for the money, a nice place to stay and close to the Speedway.
Travelodge Daytona Beach Speedway on International Speedway Blvd gets somewhat mixed reviews, but has location, location, location! If you're a race fan, you may seriously want to consider staying here.
