Daytona Beach is FUN

I recently went to Daytona Beach, and let me tell you, it was one of the best beaches I've ever been to. The sand was clean and free of all debris, the water was clear, and the beach wasn’t too too packed. We definitely enjoyed our day there.

When we first got there on the beach, we settled on a blanket, but eventually ventured into the water, which was pretty warm for it being during the winter. There were no foreign objects floating in the water, and the water was so clear I could see my toes.

The waves were very gentle, and I could go in pretty deep before I couldn’t touch the bottom anymore. The waves weren't thrashing like in Hawaii, just smooth and slow.

After spending time in the water, I laid down on my towel, and it was refreshing to not have people constantly stepping on your toes or almost running you over with their bicycles.

After spending time on the sand, my husband and I walked along the boardwalk and stopped in for some hot dogs, and boy, were they delicious. It was just from a teeny stand off the beach, but they were better than any actual restaurant could’ve been.

Overall, we loved our trip to Daytona Beach, Florida, and would love to go back there someday soon.
