Sun worshippers will love the sand for sunning and then the showers and bath facilities for cleaning up afterwards. Surfers have plenty of wave action and swimmers love the ocean.

If you fish, there are plenty of places to set up and catch your dinner. Certain portions of the beach allow automobiles which is quite handy if you don’t want to park and walk.

Hotels abound in the city if you are staying overnight or for a weekend visit. Don’t want to get wet? Visit the International Speedway and the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse.
