Watching the Sunset at Frenchy's on Clearwater Beach

Very "touristy" I know, but you've got to go to Clearwater Beach!

While you're at Clearwater Beach, eat at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill. Their she-crab soup is to die for. Their hot wings are the best -- crisp and crunchy with your favorite sauce. Most hot wings are soggy, but these are great. Don't forget to try the grouper sandwich. Many other great choices, but these are my personal favorites.

The atmosphere can be raucous with everyone having a great time -- clothing is casual from bathing suits on up. You can sit inside or out on the deck - they have a bar if that interests you.

Hmm - there is also a tv camera going so you can call your friends to have them watch you while you are at Frenchy's. Why they would want to I do not know, but who knows they may love to see you in Florida while they are freezing at home.

The sand on the beach is white and water clear. You can wade out a long way, take your favorite beach toys and floating devises and you are set. There are umbrellas and chairs to rent, but I just use a towel to lie on. There are showers outside for washing off the sand as you leave.
