Playalinda Beach Titusville

by Elaine McCarthy
(Jupiter, FL)

Playalinda is an unusual beach because it is owned by the Federal Government as part of the space program (it sits right next to some of the launch sites at Cape Kennedy).

It's also part of Canaveral National Seashore.

Playalinda is a beautiful, natural beach. There are no multi-story condos hanging over the water, just you and miles and miles of pristine sand and dunes.

A word of warning, though. The north end (north of crossover 13) of Playalinda Beach is currently clothing optional.
