South Beach, Miami

I am from South Florida and never really took the opportunity to appreciate where I live but recently I took some vacation time from my job and decided to see South Beach.

My friends and I decided to pack our bags and check into a hotel on the beach for 4 days and have some fun like tourists. It was a blast.

There's lots of activities to do on South Beach in Miami. In the morning we had breakfast at the News Cafe and walk along the beach. The days were either spent doing all the sports activities (parasailing, jet sking, snorkling) or we would go shopping. There's lots of excellent stores on the beach.

We also went to Lincoln Road. There's lots of outdoor restaurants and shops all together. It's great to people watch and just have fun.

At night there's plenty of activities to choose from. The restaurants are great and there's various types of foods to please just about anyone. There's outdoor activities including restaurants and bars.

There's also many different clubs to go to. We are not really into the club scene but we went to one on our vacation. It was packed...plenty of people, great music. We had a blast.

We can't forget the tour bus. We went on a tour bus to see the sights one day. We thought it might be fun but we didn't really like it. I felt that we just drove by places without actually getting to see it.

Overall South Beach has plenty of activities to suit just about anyone. It's relaxing for those who want to take in the sun and the beautiful scenery. There's plenty water sports for those with the adventure spirit. There's plenty of shops for those who want to expand their designer wardrobe and plenty of activities for the party goer.

It was a great experience and now I appreciate the beautiful and great place that I live.
